Dr. Daniel Chan is a distinguished scientist and academician, currently serving as a Professor of Molecular Pathology and the Director of the Center for Biomarker Discovery and Translation at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He holds a joint appointment in the Department of Oncology and Department of Pathology. Dr. Chan is also a member of the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Chan has made significant contributions to the field of cancer biomarker research, with a primary focus on the discovery, development, and clinical application of novel protein biomarkers for early cancer detection, diagnosis, prognosis, and prediction of treatment response.
