Dr. Juan Antonio Vizcaíno is a distinguished scientist in the field of bioinformatics, currently serving as a Team Leader at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI), which is part of the European Molecular Biology Laboratory. Dr. Vizcaíno's primary research interests lie in the development of computational tools and resources for the analysis and integration of mass spectrometry (MS)-based proteomics data.
