Established in October 2020, Changping Laboratory aims to become a leading innovative scientific research institution with international recognition. The laboratory primarily focuses on addressing critical needs in new and emerging infectious disease prevention and control, brain science, and neuromorphic research. Changping Laboratory's research priorities encompass four key areas: (1) major new and emerging infectious diseases, such as COVID-19; (2) brain science and neuromorphic research; (3) cutting-edge technology development, including single-cell integrated omics, gene editing, stem cells and regenerative medicine, and AI-assisted drug design; and (4) fundamental scientific research investigating universal principles underlying basic life processes.
